Midnight Cry Messenger

Volume XLI: Number 4 -- October-November-December 1996

Editor's Letter

Beloved in Christ:

This leaves us rejoicing in the Lord because of all his mercy and grace toward us. We had something unusual before and during this meeting happen. Bro. Paul Cain, whom we had met 37 years ago, was with us in our meeting. He happened to be thinking about us and decided to get in touch with us. Not knowing where we were or how to contact us he happened to remember our paper the MCM. He punched the MCM in on his computer and through the Internet found out how to get in contact with us. Bro. Jimmy Robbins has a toll free number that Bro. Paul Cain called and got in touch with him. Bro. Jimmy Robbins in turn called me and wanted to know if I knew someone named Paul Cain, which I did. We invited him and Bro. Reid Grafke to our meeting in Jacksonville, Florida, and they came. We had a great meeting which everybody appreciated and was refreshed.

I want to highly recommend Bro. Phil Enlow's article "Light in This Present Darkness" which I believe is a true picture of the world we live in at this present time. Although the darkness will get darker the light for some few is getting greater. Praise God for that!

The Lord is really blessing the work and it's reaching out in an ever-increasing circle. I used to pray that God would help me to reach people, never realizing that He would do what He has done. Today Bro. Jimmy Robbins tells me we can be heard on every continent on earth by way of radio, and we are on T.V. and also Internet.

I used to read the scripture Matt. 24:14, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." At that time I could not visualize how that could be done, but we see technology that is making that possible at this time.

Well, beloved, I will close asking you to pray for us that God will continue to lead and bless.

Your Unworthy Friend,
C. Parker Thomas

LETTERS

I am writing to see if you could please send me a copy of your book Sex and Marriage in the Light of God's Word. I had the opportunity to look through a friend's copy, and I think it is the most inspiring book I have seen on the subject.

Dear Pastor Thomas:

I listen to you on WVOG, New Orleans.

The gospel you preach is so simple yet so impelling. Bless God for you and the ministtry He work in you and your congregation.

I've listened to you for years and now am compelled to write and tell you how much I appreciate hearing the Word of God coming from the Midnight Cry Messenger.

Bro. Thomas I just want you to know that the broadcast today when you talked about the awesomeness of God, I could feel/see it. You compared earth as it relates to the rest of the universe. How very small we are compared to the Sun which is a million+ times bigger than earth. Who could deny Him? Bless God, Hallelujah.

Even though I've never met you, I just know you love Jesus. May He forever bless the Midnight Cry Messenger, truly a messenger of love.

Thank you for your compassion and prayers for our family. It's wonderful to have brothers in the Lord.

We had our first home church service using Brother Thomas's tapes . . . We have started playing the tapes Sunday morning and Sunday evening. There have even been a Wednesday evening or two when the tapes were played.

Would you and the elders at your church include our family in your prayers when you pray . . . Thank you for the written material you sent us by Brother Thomas. We have felt led to share with several others these truths.
